Construction has been in my blood from day one. I started working with my dad as soon as I was old enough to pick up a tool, and I’ve never looked back. I was helping out part-time every summer since I was 16, and I always knew the trades were where I was meant to be.
I started full time in the trades at 18.
I founded this company in 2017 and named it Stand Sure as a nod to my roots. Anderson is a common Scottish surname with strong ties to Clan Anderson, a Lowlands clan that dates back to the 16th century. Their motto, Stand Sure, speaks to strength, reliability, and integrity—values I bring into every project. Naming my company after that motto is my way of honouring my heritage and carrying those principles forward in the work I do.
After years of hands-on experience, I run Stand Sure alongside my right-hand man, Darwin. We’ve built this business from the ground up with a shared commitment to doing solid, honest work. Whether we’re on the tools or managing the job site, we take pride in getting things done right—and treating people right while we’re at it.
With roots in the trades that go back to working alongside his dad, Chris Anderson built Stand Sure on a foundation of hard work, heritage, and heart. Since founding the company in 2017, Chris has taken pride in leading the way—with the unwavering support of his greatest crew: his family.
